If it were left up to Petalumans responding to the Argus-Courier's online survey on March 21, 2007, the Petaluma School District would have no trouble making its two temporary parcel taxes permanent.

Petalumans don't believe their representatives are doing enough to get a crosstown connector built at Rainier Avenue and have doubts that it will ever be built, according to an Argus-Courier online poll March 14, 2007.

Readers responding to an Argus-Courier online survey March 7, 2007 said that streets and potholes, the Rainier connector and a new fire station should be top priorities for public works projects, but there was a wide diversity of opinions.

Local advocates of parks and playing fields responded in large numbers to the Argus-Courier's Feb. 28, 2007 online survey, giving 71 percent support to a tax measure to pay for construction, maintenance or security of local parks.
