In an Argus-Courier online survey Jan. 23, 2008, 78 percent of the respondents disapproved of Governor Schwarzenegger's proposal to close 48 state parks, including the Petaluma Adobe, to help address the state budget crisis.

Approximately two-thirds of those who responded to an Argus-Courier online survey Dec. 26, 2007 believe that underage drinking is either "very serious" (38.9 percent) or "somewhat serious" (27.8 percent).
